Tall Skinny Black Boy Productions
From the creator of the award-winning film PUNKS, comes a new series about black gay men...NOAH'S ARC.

Tall Skinny Black Boy Productions, Inc. is the full-service feature film and television production company owned and operated by writer-director-producer PATRIK-IAN POLK.
Patrik-Ian Polk made his feature film directorial debut with "Punks," an independent feature that he also wrote and produced. Often described as a male "Waiting to Exhale," "Punks" had its world premiere in January, 2000 at the Sundance Film Festival, as part of its prestigious American Spectrum series. The film delighted audiences and picked up many awards at festivals around the world and was released theatrically in November 2001. PUNKS was nominated for a 2002 Indie Spirit Award for Best low-budget feature.

Polk is currently developing a comedy feature project entitled LADIES NIGHT with producer Lee Daniels (MONSTER'S BALL) and is writing an original television movie for Lifetime Network. He is also developing a feature adaptation of James Earl Hardy’s groundbreaking novel, “The Day Eazy E Died.” Additionally, Polk is creating an experimental series about black gay men in the style of “Sex and the City," called NOAH'S ARC.
Patrik also writes an advice column titled THE SKINNY for XY Magazine (a magazine for gay youth). You can email your questions for the advice column OR any comments or inquiries to the address below.
